What is Part Time Online?

Part Time Online is a specialist Job and Candidate board that is designed to support employers, candidates and agencies that are focused on flexibility in the workplace.  We cover all flexible work types including part time, job share, casual, work from home, freelance and many more.  Our site also offers up to date market information regarding the topic of flexibility and supporting documentation for those returning to the workforce in a flexible role.

Who should use Part Time Online?

Employers wishing to employ staff on a flexible basis (see our work type definitions); Candidates wishing to find flexible employment, and agencies who wish to promote both their clients and their candidates on a site that validates flexibility in the workplace.

What type of jobs and profiles can we post?

Any job vacancies and profiles that contain employment flexibility.  For example, the role may involve three days in the office and two from home, or it may only be part time.  If you are a candidate posting your profile, you may wish to be available several hours every day or work only during the school term. Whatever your flexible preference, simply choose the appropriate work type to allow employers to search for what they require.

What happens when a free offer expires?

Any advertisements posted or renewed up to the end of the free offer period will remain on the site for the full 28 days (unless you choose a different closing date) free of charge.  Any new advertisement placed after the free offer period will attract an advertising fee as per our Products and Pricing document.

Do I have to pay to register?

No.  All registrations to our site are FREE.

Do I have to pay to search?

No.  All searches on our site are FREE.  Whether you are conducting a search for a job or a candidate, feel free to browse our site as often as you like.

Do I have to post a profile to apply for a job?

No. Posting a profile is in no way connected to applying for a job.  Our search function is free to use, and all candidates may apply directly to an employer’s ad FREE of charge.

Can I attach my resume to my profile?

Yes, you are able to upload several versions of your resume and may store them in your account centre to be used as required.

What jobs can I apply for?

Any jobs which meet your requirements and those of the employer.  You will apply directly to the employer/agency and they will respond to you regarding your application.

How can I protect my privacy when I am posting my profile?

Protecting your privacy is essential both through agency representation and direct listings.  On the Part Time Online site, you can remain totally anonymous when posting your profile by choosing our “hidden email” option.  This ensures that none of your details are displayed (unless you type them in the advertisement body) and employers or fellow candidates may only contact you through our site.

How long does my advertisement stay on line?

All advertisements stay on the Part Time Online site for a period of up to 28 days, and extended periods are also available through the Products and Pricing section. You may also choose to close your ad earlier than the specified number of days if you have filled the role.

What happens when my ad expires?

When your ad expires, it will be moved to the archived ads section of your account centre where it will be stored for your future use.

How do I change my registration details?

Simply go into your account centre and change your account details
