Why we collect and hold information

Part Time Online is an independent 100% Australian owned company (operating in Australia and New Zealand). We are not a recruitment agency, or affiliated with any media, multi-national or Government Agency - we provide a website dedicated to:

• Advertising part time, job share and flexible employment options;
• Candidates advertising their skills and experience to potential employers, and;
• Candidates advertising their skills and experience to potential Job Share Partners, and;
• General information in relation to flexible employment.

The information on the site relates to three distinct user groups:

• Employers - Organisations/Individual requiring part time, casual, flexible staff
• Agencies - Recruitment Agencies and/or Government Employment Agencies looking to advertise their jobs roles or their candidates
• Candidates - Job Seekers looking for part-time, casual, flexible work

We may also hold information for client and business relationship management and for marketing purposes.

Use of your information

Your personal information will be used for the purpose of bringing part-time/job-share candidates and job advertisers together. Your personal information will never be divulged to third parties - it will only ever be used for the purpose of bringing part-time/job share candidates and job advertisers together.

We will not use your personal information for any other purpose without first seeking your consent or as required by law.

We may communicate with you again with other information that is complimentary to your original request. Each of these communications will have clear opt-out instructions so you can choose not to receive further Part Time Online communication.

We may also use your personal information for marketing purposes (e.g. surveys) and to provide you with information (e.g. newsletters) but you will have the opportunity to opt- out of these uses.

We may disclose your personal information to other parties that provide services (e.g. web hosting) under contract to us provided those other parties have undertaken to us to keep your personal information confidential and secure.

Job /Job-Share Partner Search Candidates Information

Job/Job Share Partner Search Candidates will not be required to register their personal details on the website as part of the Job/Job Share partner Search process. They will only be asked to register if they wish to contact the employers and/or Job Share partners via the site. They will also have the option of registering on the site if they wish to receive job alerts and/or communication from us (e.g. Newsletter, upcoming events etc.)

Candidate Search Employers/Agencies Information

Employers/Agencies wishing to search the database of candidates who have posted their profiles on Part Time Online will not be required to register their personal details on the website as part of the Candidate Search process. They will only be asked to register if they wish to contact the candidate via the site. They will also have the option of registering on the site if they wish to receive job alerts and/or communication from us (e.g. Newsletter, upcoming events e.t.c)

Post Your Profile - Candidate Information

Part Time Online provides the platform for candidates to post their skills, experience and job preferences on the website (a Profile Ad) in order for prospective employers and/or prospective Job Share partners to easily locate them. Candidates posting their profile on Part Time Online will be required to register on the site, however, the candidate's registration details will not be accessible to any other person, but can be viewed, changed and/or deleted by the candidate at any time via their personal online Account Centre. As part of the posting their profile process, the candidate will have a choice as to what/how much personal information appears on their Profile Ad. Candidates can choose to receive responses via the site in which case no personal contact details are displayed. Any personal details (e.g. name, contact numbers, email address) that the candidate elects to make public on their Profile Ad will be displayed online and will be freely searchable and viewable by employers and prospective Job Share partners. Employers/Job Share partners will subsequently make contact via the method specified by the candidate in their Profile Ad (either directly or via the site).

Post Your Job Employer/Agency - Information

Employers and Agencies are able to post their part time jobs (and other flexible employment jobs) on Part Time Online. Agencies are also able to post Profiles of their candidates on the site in order to be proactively searched by Employers, however, the candidate's personal details will not be presented on the ad, and all contact will be made via the Agency details on the Ad. Employers/Agencies posting ads on Part Time Online will be required to register on the site, however, the registration details will not be accessible to any unauthorized parties outside of their organisation, and can be viewed, changed and/or deleted at any time via their organisation's personal online Account Centre. Employers/Agencies can choose to receive responses via the site in which case no personal contact details are displayed. Any personal details (e.g. company name, contact name, contact numbers, email address) that the Employer/Agency elects to make public on their Job/Profile Ad will be displayed online and will be freely searchable and viewable by candidates and prospective Employers (in the case of Agency Profile Ads).

Access to your information

Registered Advertisers (Employers/Candidates/Agencies) can login in and access their information at any time - this information can be viewed, updated, or deleted at any time.
