Standard Advertising Specifications

We currently accept banners in GIF, JPEG, Flash, and 3rd party format. Our standard specifications are:

• Animation may run for 15 seconds (looping permitted).
• No strobing effects within banners.
• Flash creative must use the standard clickTAG expression for all embedded URLs.
• Maximum file size dependent on the ad position
• HTML/DHTML/JavaScript and rich media ads are reviewed on a case-by-case basis

Leaderboard (aka "Super Banner")

The standard Leaderboard Ad is positioned at the top right of our pages, above the menubar and navigation elements.

• Height: 90 pixels
• Image types: GIF, JPEG, Flash
• File size: GIF/JPEG max 20kb ; Flash max 30kb
• Animation allowed: Yes
• 3rd Party ad serving allowed: Yes

Medium Rectangle (aka "Island")

These ads are positioned in the right hand column for search result and other pages. They do not appear on every page.

• Height: 250 pixels
• Image types: GIF, JPEG, Flash
• File size: GIF/JPEG max 20kb ; Flash max 30kb
• Animation allowed: Yes
• 3rd Party ad serving allowed: Yes

Newsletter Banner

These ads are included in our regular newsletters to site members, and can be targeted to Candidate or Employer newsletter editions.

• Height: 60 pixels
• Image types: GIF, JPEG
• File size: GIF/JPEG max 20kb
• Animation allowed: Yes
• 3rd Party ad serving allowed: Yes*
