Candidates and Agencies

This is a great opportunity to “promote” your skills and experience to potential employers, so writing a good profile is essential. We have provided some guidelines on how to create your own personal profile:

Skills, Experience and Knowledge

  • Briefly describe what special skills and experience you possess
  • List any special achievements and outcomes that may place you ahead of the competition
  • Mention any formal qualifications and/or professional development that may be relevant to your experience
  • Use targeted language to attract the type of employer you would like to work for e.g. “progressive,” “forward thinking”, “outcome focused”; and
  • Select the option of attaching your resume to your profile should employers wish to look at your experience in more detail

How to be Contacted

  • Provide options as to how an employer can contact you. You may choose (for privacy reasons) to set up a separate email address for employers to respond to or you may include a mobile phone number
  • You also have the choice of being contacted through Part Time Online, providing you with even more privacy

Personal Details

These are searchable fields and will not appear on the profile unless you specifically enter the information into the free text field.

  • Provide details on how many days, and the specific days and times you wish to work
  • Choose a job category and sub category that match your experience
  • List any other special requirements or achievements to make it easier for an employer to find you
  • Include whether you are interested in a permanent or contract/temp role; and
  • Identify your preferred work location(s)
